Of course, it’s gotten worse.
What would one expect when there are few or no repercussions for irresponsible behavior?
This is a direct result of poor parenting by irresponsible parents.
It’s not the school’s job to teach responsibility, though schools are poor at teaching everything.
Hire a DA that isn’t in Soros’s back pocket and prosecute crime to its fullest extent.

When personal drug use became a misdemeanor and property crime dollar value
was raised to $951.00 to be charged with a Felony, it spiraled out of control.

Personal drug use became a misdemeanor (Prop 47) it took an extremely
effective tool away from Judges. The ability to impose a harsh Felony sentence
for addiction which would be immediately stayed, provided, defendant got
clean-n-sober, stayed that way and maintained steady employment.
Defendant was placed on probation for 3 – 5 years with the VERY CLEAR
understanding, if ALL terms of probation were not rigorously adhered to,
the full original Felony sentence would immediately be imposed.
NO REVOLVING DOOR.

Person walked outta Court back then and thought, “I don’t want to go to Prison”
cleaned up their act and becomes a productive member of society.

Now days if a Judge offers drug – alcohol treatment program, defendants know
treatment is 90 days and turn down treatment. Back out onto OUR streets to
once again become a predacious drain upon society.

If there is no threat of substantial incarceration,
there is no deterrence to criminal behavior

overcrowding in all 58 counties caused by passage of AB-109 back in 2011.

Who I really blame are voters who don’t take their responsibility seriously.
Uninformed voters, addicted to sound bite news never bothering to check
