Clayton police reported two arrests and no accidents, burglaries, thefts or vandalism during the week of July 31 through Aug. 6. Just after midnight on Aug. 2, officers stopped a vehicle near Ygnacio Valley Road and Michigan Boulevard for alleged vehicle code violations. A 31-year-old Concord man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08% or higher. He was transported to the Concord Police Department for booking. On Aug. 4, officers responded to a call on Four Oaks Lane and arrested a 30-year-old Fremont man on suspicion of battery. He was transported to the Concord Police Department for booking. No other arrests or incidents in the listed categories were reported during the period.
