ConFire extinguished a fire at an encampment in the area of Olivera Rd. at Hwy.242 in Concord. They’re still on scene, so be careful of emergency vehicles in the area. The blaze started just before 3 p.m., and was extinguished within minutes.

So it’s everyday now… why doesn’t CPD just fix the encampment and arson problem once and for all?

You’ve got that right!!! The majority of former City Manager Valerie Barone’s hires, beginning with Chief Mark Bustillos and Director of Economic Development and Base Reuse Guy Bjerke, need to go so that the City of Concord can have a fresh start. The Concord Police Department has many issues that need to be dealt with!!!
