Clayton police reported three arrests and four petty thefts during the week of Aug. 7-13, according to the department’s latest activity report. On Aug. 7, officers arrested an 87-year-old Clayton man on Gold Rush Court on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse. Later that evening, a 61-year-old Clayton man was arrested for suspected DUI in the 5400 block of Clayton Road. He was transported to the Concord Police Department for booking. On Aug. 8, officers responding to Yolanda Circle arrested a 68-year-old Concord man on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and unlawful drug paraphernalia. He was released on a promise to appear in court. Police also reported four petty thefts during the week. Incidents were reported in the 6400 block of Center Street on Aug. 8, Diablo Creek Court and the 5400 block of Clayton Road on Aug. 9, and again in the 5400 block of Clayton Road on Aug. 12. No accidents or vandalism incidents were reported during the period.
