Brian Willson lost both legs below the knee when he was struck and run over by a U.S. Navy munitions train while blockading the Concord Naval Weapons Station. He and other demonstrators were protesting arms shipments bound for Central America.

Ten weeks later, actor Martin Sheen was arrested while protesting at the CNWS, after sitting on the tracks. A judge dismissed the charges because the Contra Costa County District Attorney didn’t bother to file a formal complaint.

Individuals continued to protest and live at train entrance/exit point for many years. Does anyone remember when they finally left the CNWS?
