Just after 5 p.m. Thursday, Pleasant Hill Police officers responded to Marshalls in the Crossroads Shopping Center for a theft in progress involving three people. Officers spotted the suspects leaving the area in a white Toyota pickup and attempted to stop the vehicle. Police said the driver fled, striking a patrol car and an uninvolved parked vehicle in the process. With assistance from the California Highway Patrol, Walnut Creek Police Department, Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office, Concord Police Department and Clayton Police Department, the truck was later located in Concord, on Ygancio Valley Road, and all three suspects were arrested after a brief foot chase to Boatwright Fields off Pine Hollow Road. Investigators later determined the Toyota pickup had been reported stolen to the Oakland Police Department. No officers or members of the public were injured. The three suspects were booked into county jail, and the investigation remains ongoing.

I was almost hit by the truck driver while on cowell rd at Babel lane. Scared me to death as I’d estimate them going approximately 60mpg ++. Im glad no one was injured.
