This is what you use lightweight convicts for. This is how they should pay their fines. I ran from "operation stay in school" when I was a teen and got put on the truck to pick up trash. Never did…

Yes, Depending on how many times and the level of intoxication 5 strikes. 3 at a level one with in 2yr 5 in 3yr, and they should be marked, assuming no harm was done. 2-5 levels should count as 2…

No, it's not a right-wing thing. Let's not forget Hilary Clinton cackling after Gadafi's death. After watching the broadcast of him being sodomized to death, she giggled and said "We came. We saw. He died."

You're assuming two things: 1) Potential mass murders have enough inherent rationale to be dissuaded by public executions. 2) Convicted mass murders aren't thrilled by every extra bit of attention they get - even if that attention is their own…

I see (and smell) more stoned out drivers these days than drunk drivers - let's see a crack down on them too

Repeat DWI drivers should not be allowed to drive, period. There should be a road to recovery that allows repeat DWI offenders to drive again. Punishment should be harsh jail time if DWI drivers are still driving.

  • Bob

Better Question: Will the state of CA ever establish a DWI standard for THC? Whole lotta cars on the road with smoke pouring out the windows.

  • Dr Jellyfinger

No. The driver could just sneeze and swerve a little then people would call in reporting him/her. Every moment the car is in motion overeager tattletale types would be scrutinizing and reporting every move.

  • Roz

No, ... But from what we personally know, ...they still drive, .... 🙁

After whatever criminal charges and penalties are dealt with, that property needs to be monitored.

  • domo

A worthwhile activity, and am all for asking for volunteers to help clean up city property. But, I think most city employees should also be on site to assist - it is, their job.
