When the ACLU closed down the mental health hospitals in the country we should have been building more. Examples most of the homeless, the people using the police for suicide and now so far four arsonists have been caught who are responsible for multiple fires. That is only four they have caught who knows how many more are out there. Don’t go telling me Reagan shut them down because Reagan was California’s governor and they were closed all over the country. Will the forum have any value. No chance we have lost our ability to think straight.

The ACLU is a lobbying organization like the NRA. It doesn’t have the authority to shut down anything. That authority rests solely with the government.

Is this the state of political education in this country nowadays? I weep for our future.

Lizzee You must be a Biden voter. Of course the aclu did not shut down the mental hospitals. They sued the government to get it done. Start worrying about your own political education.

Just quoting you, my dear sir.

If you want to change things, create your own NGO, raise funds, hire attorneys, find a test case, file suit, then see how far you get in reopening hospitals.

You have the same rights as the ACLU, so pull yourself up by your bootstraps and file your own suit. Let government (maybe) work for you!

ACLU might stand for one thing as an acronym but they are a communist organization hell bent on making America a communist country. Nothing Civil about them.

Lizze I have two questions. Without telling your age what age group are you in and where did you go to school. Well I have another one. Were your parents die hard democrats and they invaded your mind or were they Republicans and you rebelled.

I called this number today, hoping I could reach ANYONE about helping a manic family member who is currently being housed/ fed in a hotel. I wanted to complain because this “coddling” of dangerously mentally ill souls who are setting fires ( he burned down my house), stealing, assaulting, etc. is making the situation worse.
After almost two hours of being transferred from one source to another I ended up nothing. System is broken. Government just threw money at it and fueled that pandemic.
