CA businesses need political stability and regulatory certainty,
without them they won’t risk capital and some will leave the state.
Likely contributing to decision, deep pocket fleecing by CoCo county and state of steel company in Pittsburg which is quitting CA. Plant will be scrapped. Elimination of 600, can buy a house single earner, spouse can stay home, living wage jobs due in part to liberal politicians and unelected bureaucrats using their office to ‘fine’ companies with deep pockets.
One of company’s customers, a steel can manufacturing buying tens of thousands of tons per year. Vegetable canning is big business for CA and loss of that steel supply might possibly increase cost of canned food.
Those picking the deep pockets figured that big company will sit back and take it, after all they’ve been in same place for over 110 years.
Keep in mind for each living wage jobs lost another 6 to 10 other workers at companies providing goods and services will be impacted by that plant closing and might have to downsize their work force.
Thus far have heard nothing about possible closure and dismantling of the steel plant, which was deemed as providing essential products during pandemic lock down, from local, county, state politicians or members of congress OR media.

In Illinois today while campaigning for Democrats, Biden addressed the signs from protestors that said “Socialism Sucks” and told the audience “Socialism. Give me a break, what idiots.” Biden is pretending Socialism is laughably not a consideration. Really? What about the record? Bernie Sanders is an admitted and enthusiastic Socialist, and he came very close to being their candidate in 2016. For the 2020 election Primaries, Sanders came in second against Biden. Bottom line, a Socialist was in second place in both of the last two Democratic primaries, so Biden pretending Socialism is not a consideration is just plain dishonest.

It’s clear you don’t know that oil purchase contracts are made months ahead of time, not the spot (day) price published or televised. Therefore, there was a large difference between how much it was paid for and the retail price of gasoline.

They voted for continued inflation, higher and higher gas and grocery prices, for more irrational spending on the climate change hoax. They voted not just for socialism but for authoritarianism, for totalitarianism, for communism. The Russia collusion hoax, the burying of the Hunter Biden laptop, two phony impeachments of President Trump, and the J6 show trial were each flashing neon lights of warning; tyranny is here and millions of Democrats voted for it.
Was the election on the up and up, fair and square, free of fraud? Who knows? George Soros, just one of the mega-donors to the Democrat party, spent $128 million!
