Police arrested two of the three suspects accused of pistol-whipping and robbing two people Tuesday evening in downtown Walnut Creek.

At approximately 7:36 p.m. Walnut Creek police received a report of a robbery on the 1500 block of Bonanza St.

Responding officers located two victims, who said they were approached by three male suspects wearing all black clothing and masks. One of the suspects was armed with a dark-colored handgun.

The suspects allegedly stole the victim’s wallet, pistol-whipped and stole the bag of the other victim, and fled the scene in a white Lexus. The assault victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

In conjunction with Oakland police, Walnut Creek officers located the white Lexus in Oakland and arrested two suspects: Elias Alcorn and Daymonee Johnson, and recovered stolen property from this robbery.

Both were booked at the Martinez Detention Facility for suspicion of robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit a crime and are being held in lieu of $250,000.

Anyone with information about this incident can contact the Walnut Creek Police Department at (925) 943-5844 or use its anonymous tip line at (925) 943-5865.

Isn’t it ironic that the Soros DAs that find it hard to give out a descent sentence to a minorities are actually giving them a bad reputation.

What is a “Soros DA”, pray tell?

Shhh. Can’t talk about George Soros funding progressive district attorneys DAs. $1M in the case of our DA Diana Beacton. The left claims you are using antisemitism conspiracy theories if you even mention his name

This is unfortunately true!
I was in Walnut Creek the other day and when three young black men walked by our outdoor Cafe where some women sitting next to me hid their purses and one said she was afraid, as “black men are doing all these robberies in town”. I told her that we really can’t think such things . But but she’s actually right.
I remember when President Obama scolded white people for supposedly locking their car doors when black men approached. He said that was racist.
But unfortunately a bad stereotype is resulting from all these robberies.

Perhaps they needed money for car payment ? ? ? ?
Evidently WC still has a reputation as an EASY place to do crime.

.
Now we get to wait an see if CoCo DA actually takes crime seriously or will plea bargain.
Will there be a Judge willing to sentence to the MAX.

If there is no threat of incarceration,
there is no deterrence to criminal behavior

Liberal city+Money+BLM DA=Armed robbery. Very simple equation. It’s undeniable. It’s repeatable.

That cop had his police badge taken by the robbers. The robbers then tried the same stunt in Oakland and got busted. The police badge and several firearms were recovered.

Walnut Creek’s a liberal city. I expect no consequences. Crime will increase exponentially.

Great job of the cops. I do fear the D.A. will plea in down as usual and or reduce charges. There is one judge in particular who is a p.o.c. that never goes to trial and pleas these cases down consistently especially when other p.o.c. are involved. Interesting how this same judge lives in one of the Whitest and wealthiest neighborhoods in the East Bay.

Wanted to take some out-of-town friends to dinner earlier this week (not Tuesday). My wife suggested W.C. I said no. Too dangerous. We spent our money in Lafayette. Happy with the decision.

Key point-when people start avoiding Walnut Creek and take their business elsewhere,
then it hits the city hard with shrinking tax revenue. Ghetto rats have finally figured out
that they need to pray on cities that have money. BLM supported DAs make it happen.
This is Walnut Creek in 2023.

Many, many, citizens agree with you. Our elected officials won’t truly acknowledge or address crime until city tax revenue tanks. When citizens bail, so do merchants. It’s not rocket science.
Time to wake up.

Big Dem Cindy Silva and Luella Haskew keep passing the Mayor torch back and forth. No wonder the City is a mess and needs a serious facelift. and rent reduction for small businesses.
Did you vote for that? Never saw a ballot/
