How long has it been going on before they got caught, and after they clean up and reopen, who’s to say they will not go back to their old tricks? So nope! I would never trust them again. When I was younger, I worked in a cookie factory, and we kept the place clean as a whistle, and never had as infestation problem. I’ve also worked in a restaurant for a short period of time, and that place was also kept clean. As far as I’m concerned, there is no excuse to find rodents, turds, and bugs in any food establishment.
I saw a HUGE rat walking outside of McDonald’s on Clayton Rd. back in the 90s………I didn’t stop eating there.
nope…. just cross ’em off my “got to try” list if I’ve never been there and if I had – that would have been my last time
Thanks to claycord for proving this public service. After suffering at least 2 bouts of food poisoning from restaurants in the past, once I see the “closure” by the health inspector, I do not go back, nor ever plan to go back. That includes Monas on Oak Grove Rd, Cold Stone Creamery in Pleasant Hill, House of Bagels by Todos Santos Plaza, Luigi’s Deli in Concord, several Chinese restaurants, and others. Keep on providing the information!
Yes. When the health department gives the restaurants a passing grade, it’s okay with me.
No. They don’t spend the money to keep them clean-especially Chinese restaurants.
We don’t eat out much. Have not been at any of the places listed/posted on Claycord Dirty Dining.
There had been times we walked into a place and walked right back out, LOL!

Not sure how I would eat at a restaurant recently closed…I apologize for such juvenile inanity. In all honesty, once reopened, that past issue would not necessarily stop me from eating there. I do not really eat at a variety of restaurants, though.
I would avoid any place that has been closed due to failing an inspection.
If Olive Garden had been closed by the health department, at least there are other ones to chose from that are outside of Claycord.

After they have been cleared yes. But if there are continuing violations then no.
Wasn’t old spaghetti factory closed by health inspectors they still somehow managed after reopening
Right after a restaurant passes inspection and reopens, it will probably be the cleanest that it will ever be.
Only wish we could get these Dirty Dining alerts at the time of closure, not after the re-open.
