UPDATE: Fire Extinguished Near Babel Lane In Concord

ConFire is responding to multiple reports of smoke and flames seen from a back yard shed, with a significant threat of exposure to a home on Kimball Ct near Kimball Way, in Concord.

A neighbor reports that all occupants have evacuated. CPD is also on scene and are evacuating people from at least one neighboring home. Please avoid the area.

Update: The incident commander has called for a Second Alarm. The fire has extended to at least one additional neighboring shed.

Update: Forward fire progress has been stopped. All crews will remain on scene for extensive overhaul operations.

Update: Several “outbuildings” (sheds, etc.) were involved in the fire.
