About 260 PG&E customers are still without power in Clayton after a 32 hours.
The outage, which is in the Regency Woods area of Clayton, off Marsh Creek Rd., started at about 2 a.m. on Thursday. PG&E has updated the estimated time for power restoration about four times, and now says power should be restored by 1 p.m. today.

Ridiculous – be sure to file claims… imho – PGE should be supplying generators to those affected after that long
And they want to force us into electric cars? The grid can’t handle things now let alone with millions of electric cars hooked up to it. I pity any Resident of Regency Woods that has an electric car that they have not been able to charge to go anywhere in.

@Badge1104 – A more serious and immediate issue is they want to force all of us to electric home heating and electric water heaters starting in 2027. If your gas water heater fails in 2027 or later then you will not be allowed to replace it with another gas water heater. Instead, you will be without hot water until you upgrade your home electrical to support an electric water heater. If you chose to get a tankless water heater you will discover that you instantly don’t have hot water when you don’t have power. The same rules will apply for furnaces starting in 2029.
There are some tankless gas water heaters that have a battery backup for power outages. Also, I would think you could drive to Reno and buy a standard gas water heater lug it home and have a handyman install it. The more costly issue is pushing everyone to heat pumps for air conditioning and household heat. This stupid state thinks these efforts by californians are going to help the global climate issues. We’re already way beyond China helping the enviro and that basically China gets a free pass and pollutes way more than the US or any other nation.
Well, when it comes to PG&E: Equipment; they’ve got plenty.
