The Concord City Council announced recruitments for openings on several City boards and commissions listed below.
Applications are due to the City Clerk by Friday, May 12, 2023, at 5:00 p.m.
Commission on Aging – the Commission is seeking five (5) individuals willing to serve four-year terms ending June 30, 2027.
Community Services Commission – the Commission is seeking three (3) individuals willing to serve four year terms ending June 30, 2027.
Concord-Pleasant Hill Health Care District Grant Committee – the Committee is seeking two (2) individuals willing to serve four-year terms ending June 30, 2027.
Parks, Recreation and Open Space Commission – the Commission is seeking two (2) Adult Members willing to serve four-year terms ending June 30, 2027; one (1) Adult Member willing to serve the remainder of a four-year term ending June 30, 2025; and two (2) Youth Members willing to serve one year terms, effective September 1, 2023, and ending June 30, 2024.

In choosing individuals for boards and commissions the Concord City Council only chooses individuals that think like they do, they don’t want any DIVERSITY OF THOUGHT!
