The following is from the Pleasant Hill Police Department:
On Monday, a concerned citizen reported seeing a male subject in all orange concealing a black handgun in his waistband, and then entering the Nordstrom’s Rack store in Pleasant Hill.
Officers quickly arrived on scene and began initiating a plan to contact the subject. During this time, the subject exited the business and was quickly detained.
As officers detained the subject, a replica CO2 pellet gun and knife were located on his person.
Thanks to the quick thinking citizen, we were able to quickly and safely resolve this incident without further crimes occurring. The subject was later booked into County Jail on several open charges.

I am so glad I saw this in time, and instead will change into my lime green fluorescent jumpsuit with matching katana sword and Viking helmet when I go out shopping later.
I hope Nordstrom Rack reaches out to the concerned citizen with a big reward or gift card.
That could of gone wrong in so many ways for The Racks employees and customers.
