How about that they’re gonna keep him.
Mark that on the calendar, 1 stays in jail
.
IF he is a CA parolee, as result of AB-109 passed back in 2011 by DEMs, the max time he can get for the parole violation is only 180 days in county jail.
.
If there is no threat of incarceration,
there is no deterrence to criminal behavior

A “parole…. was he one of Gavin Newsom’s 20,000 prisoners that he let out of jail?
Bank robbery is a federal offense so he might get some detail time out of this one. Maybe that’s what he wanted when he decide to rob a bank right across the street from the police station

If he didn’t get any money and never left the building… attempted 211. I agree that it sounds like he couldn’t survive in todays society and wanted to go back to get houses and fed.

Speaking of banks.

Does anyone know if the First Republic Bank (formerly Bank of Walnut Creek] impacted the City of Walnut due to its failure?

Wondering if the city had any accounts there?

Suspect was still inside? Sounds like he wants to go back to prison. We don’t have enough prison
space in this state. The prison population peaked around 2006, and dropped down because of
prop 47. We need more prison space to keep lifers locked up and return the state to some sort
of sanity and safety.
This is what happens in a 1 party state.
