Several electric vehicle charging stations are being placed in the Treat Plaza shopping center on Treat Blvd. in Concord.

The chargers are on the Togo’s side of the center, in the back corner.

Right next to the liquor store so you can have a 40 while your car charges. Kinda funny like selling beer at a gas station and parking lots at bars. Things that make you go “Hmmm’

Or natural gas. They’ll have to reopen the natural gas electric generating plants. But on second thought they should not waste the dollars or time unless they have already forgotten that they initiated a population reduction program. So demand may well be below 2/3 of what it is now.
.
I think EV is fine with a little car you can putt around the community with and charge at home (maybe with solar). And then have or rent a gas vehicle for long trips if you want to do those.

Largest problem with our abundant natural gas reserves is communist china can’t make money like the do with electric vehicle parts.

Great! Looks like a quick charger, which we need more of.

Maybe I should build a few. Then charge a progressive rate per kilowatt and suck out the bank accounts of the rich and not so famous.

I wonder where all this wire and such will come from. How about a college with dorms and big parking lots, will every stall have a charging station or are kids supposed to rotate their cars every four hours and let others charge? That’s not going to happen. This is so poorly thought out. If they really cared about air pollution they would tell China to stop building coal plants or we stop importing their low quality exports.

With electricity rates always going up and scalable power generation capacity diminishing each year, will charging station time become rationed.

Don’t have time to research but would be interested to learn at what price per barrel of oil are internal combustion engines cheaper to operate per mile?

There is an empty shopping center across the street they could have made the center full of chargers.

I read that our gas guzzlers are being auctioned off and shipped to Africa for resale.

Actually a lot of our unused vehicles get a 2nd life in Mexico, last several recycled vehicles I got rid of went straight to Mexico to be resold.

china buys US coal, ships it all the way to china.
Then sells US parts for electric vehicles. Sounds like china has a sound business model.
.
An who helped make US coal such a good deal for china? ? ?

Aha! Those coal trains running through Martinez to Richmond on the UP are payloads destined for China?
As far as I can tell it’s a train a day.
