Lower speed limit to 20 and request that it be enforced.

that solicitors and such stop leaving their material tossed in our driveways, taped to the house, or otherwise littered in the neighborhood.
there is more, but that’s always been a pet peeve.

Wouldn’t change a thing.
Quail do get a bit rowdy at times.

Hmmm……quiet out of control barking dogs and have people drive the speed limit is a nice start.

The cost of living.

Pleasant Hill needs sidewalks!

House on court that has been empty (owner died) for almost 2 years and yards have gone to weeds. Keep hoping for new owners or even care-taking renters.

Ship the homeless to Gavin Newsom’s PlumpJack Estate Winery, in the Napa Valley. There, they can pitch their tents, and since Gavin enjoys giving away free stuff, he can give them all the wine they can drink, and they can stay drunk 24/7.

…. re-pave YVR east of Oak Grove in both directions to WC city line… it’s horrible – coming downhill (westbound) at the legal speed limit causes accidents as its so bumpy it causes skids and out of control conditions …. will the city listen? nooooooooooo

Older neighborhood – the Telephone/Electrical poles look bad. Underground wiring would be nice.

I would like to see the overhead power lines be buried under ground, just to improve the aesthetic of the street.

Absolutely nothing! Love it! Great neighbors! Quiet court!

I want murals throughout the city; and a few night clubs and a strip club. Amsterdam style cafe cannabis is a plus.

Get rid of the nasty waddling troll gossip who makes up stories for attention and thinks she owns the street.
Life was good before she moved in.

Replace all of the Rattlesnakes with some other type of non venomous snakes.

.
Require that RVs (boats, trailers, campers, motorhomes, etc.) are parked out of public view.
.
If you can afford one, then you can afford to have it stored offsite or stored next to your house behind a fence.

Will never happen in Concord they want motorhomes and homeless people everywhere, otherwise people might think there is no liberals here….by letting your city become a toilet its just your way of saying u support Biden.

Get rid of the turkeys! They are noisy, dirty animals that make a mess out of the yard.

Nothing. I’m a renter now and it seems I should assimilate more than dictate what others who already live here should do. Having said that…a tetherball pole can double as a stripper pole if I want, I don’t see what the big deal is. Not like I ever play tetherball.

Underground the utilities.
When you have overhead lines, PG&E will butcher your trees to keep them clear of electric lines.

prairiegirl January 6, 2024 - 6:08 AM - 6:08 AM

That’s a good reason for taking care of your own trees with a professional before PG&E has to do it. It is sad to see what they do to them, I agree.

Change the welcome to Concord sign to reflect its true population of 200 k.In 1998 it said 98500 people. 25 years later its says 113000.Come on now,an increase of 15 k in 25 years?More like 25 k per year.Concord is never honest to its people.

Revoke the ability to own dogs for people who let them poop on other’s yards or bark uncontrollably. Dog people have taken over, causing our collective IQ to drop 20 points and entitlement to skyrocket.

Jay Roller January 7, 2024 - 8:42 PM - 8:42 PM

These people who allow their dogs to poop on other people’s lawn are some of the most inconsiderate and rude people and should not be allowed to have dogs. Most of these same people are on their phones while they walk their dogs, which makes the dog act in a way that they feel like they are in control and not the human. I’ve come to the conclusion, after lots of observation, that most dog owners should be banned from dog ownership!

Pookie January 6, 2024 - 9:31 PM - 9:31 PM

Ban HOA boards.

Jay Roller January 7, 2024 - 8:37 PM - 8:37 PM

I live near Meadow Homes Park and every weekend during the summer, there is loud music for sometimes 8-10 hours per day. I like to have my windows and doors open but the music pollution makes it unbearable and I end up using my AC more than I would like to in order to stay comfortable inside.
