I always appreciated Clayton’s Memorial Day ceremony. There was a time when the local Boy Scout troop had two buglers on two different hills. The effects of hearing Taps being played with an echo always hit close to home.

Thanks! I replaced mine yesterday. Most of my neighbors have American flags displayed.
A few years ago, I bought a Flag from Amazon. The description had American Pride in bold letters, but when I received it, I discovered that it was made in China. I shouldn’t have been surprised.
Now, I buy a new flag from American Legion every year, knowing that they are made in America, and the quality is top-notch.

Always enjoyed the Memorial Day Ceremony in Clayton. I don’t live there any more. Do the middle school bands still play at the ceremony?
