Mike Busbee, a sought-after, award-winning songwriter/producer and a graduate of Clayton Valley High School in Concord has died after a battle with brain cancer, according to CMT.com.
Busbee was 43-year-old. He is survived by his wife and three young daughters.
Some of the many performers he worked with are Garth Brooks, Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Keith Urban, Maren Morris, Runaway June, Florida Georgia Line, Carly Pearce, Hunter Hayes, LoCash, Lauren Alaina, Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, P!nk, Timbaland and many more, CMT.com reported.

I hope people will remember him as he was fun and he was well like in this world a it was a Blessing to watch them on TV my heart goes out to his family I hope they’re doing as well as they can be done I know it’s not easy either so I hope everything helps out for them and looks out for them here on out just let them know it is really nice to know by TV but it would be nicer to know them in person God bless I hope his family finds peace for him
My goodness, what an impressive catalogue of songs for such a young man. CVHS has certainly turned out a number of creative individuals. I’m sure he will be dearly missed. Condolences to his friends and family.
