At 10:00 p.m. last night, Walnut Creek Police received an alarm call from Walgreens at 2900 N. Main Street.
Upon arrival, officers say they found numerous vehicles in the parking lot and subjects looting the store.
Officers apprehended and arrested five fleeing suspects.
They were arrested for a variety of charges, including looting and possession of a handgun.
All five suspects are adults from Oakland and Santa Rosa, police said. The store remains closed for repairs.
