Is it Friday yet?

Simonpure March 25, 2021 - 6:55 AM - 6:55 AM

Australia is 1 hour in

Weedeater March 25, 2021 - 3:43 AM - 3:43 AM

Ridiculous! Just open everything back up fully and let the people decide if they want to participate or not. Same for small businesses and employees! We got this!

remember March 25, 2021 - 5:28 AM - 5:28 AM

why does anyone listen to fauchi?

Jojo Potato March 25, 2021 - 7:59 AM - 7:59 AM

Because he’s right.

Captain Bebops March 25, 2021 - 9:13 AM - 9:13 AM

@Jojo no, he’s made mistakes. It would have been better to have a panel of top immunologists.

Ricardoh March 25, 2021 - 9:58 AM - 9:58 AM

Fausti is part of the problem that there is a Wuhan Virus. He and others invested our money into the Wuhan Lab they were told not to do. I don’t believe a thing that guy says. You can tell when he speaks he is lying. He and lying Biden make a good pair.

Jojo Potato March 25, 2021 - 11:57 AM - 11:57 AM

Everybody has made mistakes. This disease was new and we all had to learn. And he did it just about as well as anyone. Who’s on your panel? Dr. Tenpenny or the other quacks who have taken advantage of this opportunity to sell lies for money on the internet? Who was Trump’s friend selling malaria pills as a cure? The pillow guy?
I’m glad Fauchi has been here to lend some sanity to the situation. In sports we would call you a Monday Morning quarterback.

Jojo Potato March 25, 2021 - 12:48 PM - 12:48 PM

Richardoh: Please provide some information to back up your “facts” Who paid the lab and why? Who told them not to? And your just not believing is not good enough. Your buddy Trump made up the fake news and you have bought it hook line and sinker. I have not. So why should we believe you? You are just spouting some lies you heard somewhere else. Stop.

Gittyup March 25, 2021 - 1:15 PM - 1:15 PM

@JoJo “This disease was new and we all had to learn.

Yeah, Jojo, that’s why they are using the same preventatives they used 100 years ago against the Spanish Flu.

Jojo Potato March 25, 2021 - 1:48 PM - 1:48 PM

Because keeping people apart is still the the best way to slow down the spread of infection. Do you have a better idea? Or are you expecting a magic cure?

Captain Bebops March 25, 2021 - 2:39 PM - 2:39 PM

@Jojo, I said “top epidemiologists” most likely from universities and other organizations. Fauci is a “popstar” epidemiologist most likely selected because of name recognition. He is also a controversial figure. I believe others would have taken a less authoritarian approach.

Jojo Potato March 26, 2021 - 8:54 AM - 8:54 AM

Captain, I don’t think that in 1981 when Dr. Fauci got involved in AIDS research he was trying to burnish his “popstar” image Don’t you remember how serious it was?

And we all need to thank Phred for policing the spelling on this site. Don’t we?

Fred March 26, 2021 - 9:11 AM - 9:11 AM

Jojo – first you say Fauci is right – then you say “everybody has made mistakes”.

Can’t make up your mind? Two different answers in 4 hours?

You’ve complained about others not using correct grammar, so why shouldn’t you be corrected on grammar and spelling?

Guess you haven’t learned the correct spelling of “Fred” … but I will grant you that 4 letters is a stretch for you.

Hypocrite!

Bobfished March 25, 2021 - 8:44 AM - 8:44 AM

Maybe they could ask Joe about this today?
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reportedly failed to test 2,000 migrants before they were released into a small town on the Texas border after illegally entering the country.

The release, first reported by the New York Post on Tuesday, prompted criticism of the Biden administration by Democrat Del Rio Mayor Bruno Lozano. Del Rio is a small, cash-strapped Texas border town of only 35,000 residents where CBP let the nearly 2,000 untested migrants out of custody.

Bobfished March 25, 2021 - 2:25 PM - 2:25 PM

Never mind,
I guess this was not on the list of questions at today’s so called press conference.
