On Friday morning, Antioch Police Department officers were dispatched to the area of Country Hills Drive and Chism Way to investigate a reported stabbing.

Officers arrived and located a male victim suffering from a significant stab wound to the stomach. Both the victim and another male were holding down a subject – who was identified by police as Johnnie Ray Bryce.

Officers learned from witness statements and video evidence that Bryce was seen by area residents casing vehicles on the street and in private driveways. Residents confronted Bryce about his actions and he responded by brandishing a knife at them. During the ensuing altercation, one of the area residents suffered a stab wound to the stomach. Other area residents chased after Bryce and held him to the ground until police arrived.

Responding officers took Bryce into custody and recovered a black foldable pocketknife. They also located suspected methamphetamine, burglary tools, and a single unspent 9 mm round of ammunition all of which had been in had been in his possession, according to police.

Don’t know if he is but the guy making drugs in San Francisco who blew up his house that killed his wife and burned down the neighbors house is out of bail on house arrest. I was thinking he doesn’t have a house to go back to.

Oh these wonderful homeless and transient street people! Most are strong younger men that surely could work! And don’t tell me there’s no jobs. Our company alone is struggling to hire people for day porters and janitorial and we can’t find them! I’ve lost all my compassion, and no longer help these lazy muchers.

ZERO surprise southeast antioch . . . . https://tinyurl.com/432c69a7
IF more details were given including previous contact with law enforcement, would the phrase “know to law enforcement” become operative ? ?
.
“possession of ammunition by a prohibited person” ? Felon ? ? ?
.
In CA a criminal has to work really hard and do a serious crime to “catch a case”, ending up in Felony jail time.
.
Next question will be what will DA’s office do?
Gotta save the cost of a trial . . . .
A slap on the hand, plea bargain down, dropping charges in exchange for a guilty plea ? ?
Maybe anger management classes . . .
.
Our jails should have front doors ripped out and replaced with revolving doors.

Our justice system is broken. the politicians in charge in this state are destroying our once peaceful, safe society. Why do people here keep electing these evil politicians like Becton? How many more shootings and stabbings and assaults have to happen before the people in this state wake up? If somebody breaks the law, they go to jail. It’s that simple.
Ask yourselves this question, from the governor to the liberal DAs, why are they doing this to us and our children? They know that what they are doing is wrong.

They are the ONLY ones who know what’s good for us and how society MUST be structured.
IF you doubt that merely ask them, that is if you can pry them away from their mirrors.
.
They are our elected all knowing GODS,
curing all problems by throwing massive amounts of tax payer dollars at any problem.

Where is the posts by the homeless advocates saying this guy needs more compassionate services?

But but but… the homeless are just normal people down on their luck! Through NO fault of their own! Let’s just give him stuff. He was ONLY stealing because he needed to support himself because all of us with jobs are just SO evil!

Why did police stop policing transients again remind me?

It seems to me that our “elected” politicians (like gruesome wasn’t actually recalled 🙄) care nothing about right and wrong. As already stated on this thread, they are evil. From the pieces of sh*t running CA into the ground, all the way to and through the swamp in our nation’s capital. The large scale irreparable damage that’s we’ve seen done to America in just the past two years is in-fathomable. It’s terrifying and heartbreaking.

I’d like to see a survey done to determine how many of our “transient/homeless” are native Californians, how many are not & when did the arrive in California….. I think we already know “why” they came here. The more money we spend on the problem, the more they will come. It’s like putting out more cheese to attract less mice.
