It’s unlikely that Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis or Kamala Harris and Gavin Newsom would be on the same tickets, because Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis both claim Florida as their home state and both Kamala Harris and Gavin Newsom claim California as their home state, and Electoral College Electors aren’t allowed to vote for both a presidential and vice presidential candidate if they’re from the same state, so they’d either have to become “faithless Electors” and split their votes, if the results of the 2024 election allowed them enough extra Electoral Votes above the 270 needed to win to do so, which would require one ticket to have won all 538 Electoral Votes. Having both Republican Party candidates and both Democratic Party candidates on tickets from the same states will ensure that one of the Republican candidate for president or vice president would be elected and one of the Democratic candidates for president or vice president would be elected.

Another way around this Electoral College voting requirement would require Donald Trump and Kamala Harris to change their state of residencies, but I don’t see either of them doing that as this requirement would allow both of them a way out of choosing DeSantis and Newsom, which neither of them seem to want as a running mate. Donald Trump has made it pretty clear that he intends on choosing a woman as his running mate should he win the Republican nomination for president in 2024.
If Ron DeSantis wants to run for president in 2024 he would either have to resign as Governor of Florida or get both houses of the Florida State Legislature to repeal a state law that prevents a sitting governor from running for president.

There is no way that Trump and Desantis will appear on the same ticket, even if they change their home state or get a repeal of FL law. Those two guys hate each other. Same thing for Gavin and Kamala. Gavin will run (and win) the Dem nomination, but he knows how bad Kamala is. He’ll pick someone with more eloquence and ability than the walking word salad.

Trump has zero chance of being elected again because most sane people don’t want an egomaniac criminal in charge of the country. Are you still willing to vote for DEMs who gave criminals and gangs a fantastic way to make vast amounts of money and cost taxpayers millions in additional law enforcement costs all because economically challenged DEMs lacking in basic common sense saw a new source of campaign contributions from legal pot industry and they managed to screw that up too.
