PRESS RELEASE — SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES
On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, a middle school aged girl reported a man had grabbed her arm while trying to open the door to a parked vehicle as she walked to school. She was able to fight off the man and notify school staff and the police. She was not physically injured. This occurred in the area of Nuala St and Dartmouth Way at approximately 7:10 AM. The suspect is described as a shorter white male, 50 years old with a bald head and heavy build. He was associated with a small black sedan. Detectives from the Concord Police Department Special Victims Unit are actively working this case, canvassing the neighborhood, and reviewing video surveillance. Anyone who may have information related to this investigation is asked to contact Detective Stephanie Wilkens at 925-603-5858.

Seriously, while driving notice far too many adults and especially children with ear buds in staring down at their electronic device while walking totally oblivious to their surroundings. When Great Grand kids are old enough will be paying for their martial arts classes.

They are too busy making Concord put a stop sign there that wasnt needed for 60 years,its now a source of revenue for cpd.
