For anyone wondering what Nation’s on Clayton Rd. in Concord will look like when the remodel is complete, please see the pictures shown above.
The red “Nation’s” lettering will be facing Clayton Rd.
Very modern.

Dang! What was used to make that picture? MS Word? Sheesh! Looks like the Money for Nothing MTV video from back in the day!
Lmao
It’s ugly. There. First to say it. 🤠
Give Me Pies!!!
I wonder what building will be done first on Clayton Road, Dutch Bros. Coffee or Nations?
So much better than what was there before!
It was fine before. Now everything will cost more to offset the unneeded remodel.
Too modern looking- looks like an office building. Should’ve went with the classic diner look. Maybe put a giant rotating cheeseburger on a pole out front.
Looks a bit like Big O Tires.
Meh.
Did some kid design this in Minecraft?
.
Wow. It looks like every other Nations.
.
Imagine that!
.
Wonder what the inside will be. Same counter and booths???
…. will the food be the same?
Yawn.
A new building is nice and I’m glad they’ve made the commitment to continue having a restaurant in a really crappy area.
While the renderings are quite attractive, they don’t properly illustrate the fact it will be surrounded by cranksters, mentally ill, and vagrants. I was hoping they would include a drive through so legitimate paying customers could avoid being accosted.
Hopefully they have a plan for keeping their employees safe, especially as they arrive and leave work.
Bring back Bob’s Big Boy!
I remember living in Southern California, Glendale, just up the street there was The Bob’s Big Boy. Their food was delicious and my sister used to work there.
I miss the old one on Contra Costa by the old bowling alley.
I like the new look. The previous version was becoming dated and all their restaurants looked the same. They had that 50’s meets 80’s esthetic. Happy to see businesses updating themselves on Clayton road.
To fancy
