Fire Reported On Near The Canal On Belmont Rd. In Concord

ConFire is responding to multiple reports of a fence and trees on fire between Belmont Rd. and Pine St., near the canal area, in Concord.

One of the reporting parties was the STARR3 Sheriff’s helicopter.

People on the ground also reported hearing a “firework pop” immediately prior to the fire starting.

UPDATE: Location is the rear of a property located on Belmont Rd.

That’s just luckin fuvvly. I live near the canal trail at Lime Ridge…it’s basically my backyard. Nothing but rolling hills of tinder. Been hearing fireworks and gun shots for days.
Keep your heads and your hoses on a swivel, folks. Gonna be a hot summer

Also lots of wildlife. The lawless lovers of themselves couldn’t care less about any other living beings. 😓
