Central Contra Costa County can expect a chance of rain this afternoon, but don’t get used to it, because temperatures will rise up again to at least 93-degrees by Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

Temps are expected to remain in the 90s this weekend, then drop a little to the 80s by next week.

The weather is certainly trying to drive us nuts but 93 degrees won’t bring on my AC since it won’t get any warmer in the house than 81 degrees. I dislike cold more.

It’s 46% right now, but it was higher yesterday when a storm came through. I think we got about 37 raindrops, but they all turned to steam.
