A man died of a suspected drug overdose at the Concord BART station on Wednesday, according to police.
Officers responded to a report of an unresponsive male at the station just before 4 p.m.
The male appeared to be suffering from an apparent drug overdose and was given one dose of NARCAN.
Officers initiated CPR until medical personnel arrived and continued life saving measures, without success.
The male was declared deceased. No foul play is suspected at this time.
The man’s name hasn’t been released.

Guessing fentanyl. It’s so damned lethal I don’t understand why states don’t use it as the drug of choice for executions. Give the condemned a bottle of pills and let them knock themselves out.
Tons of addicts and other dangerous people loitering near all BART stations. I ran many 911 calls to BART in my career as a medic. This is no surprise.
