The following is from the Oakley Police Dept.:

On January 4 at 7:20 PM a Hispanic adult male entered the 7-Eleven at Main and Empire and simulated having a gun. The male robbed the clerk of all of the money in the register.

At 7:42 PM the same male entered the Chevron at Main and Cypress and again pulled off the same type of robbery.

We are also hearing the same male robbed a Chevron in the City of Brentwood at 6:55 PM.

This is a public advisory message to all clerks and patrons of these types of stores in this general region to be on the lookout for this suspect and call 911 if he is seen in or around these types of stores.

The suspect is further described as being 5’8”, wearing a black Adidas sweatshirt with a camouflage logo on it, black jeans, black shoes and a dark cloth over his face.

The suspect waited for all of the customers to leave the stores. No actual gun was seen but the suspect threatened to shoot if they didn’t give him the money. The suspect also had a note that he took with him.

Interesting how claycord is starting to report news from Pitt and beyond; it’s a rarity that is happening more frequently. Since when did this transpire and care for East County? I wonder.

Well… There are a few other very local type sites; so there is competition. I think it is a good move by Claycord.

Of the local sites; I think Claycord is by far the best…

Would you rather that they did not inform the public of crimes outside the general area? Many criminals prefer not to commit crimes in their own City so they go over the hill into bordering cities. So you would rather be left in the dark than be informed? We don’t get it what do you mean?

I was destroyed yesterday paying for my items when a woman was just walking out the door with all kinds of merchandise. The store clerk demanded she pay for it the woman just kept going and going and didn’t say a thing. She finally left some of the items behind. The store Clark says this happens every day when they call the police the police say they can’t come unless they were being held up by a gun. This was happening in Pleasant Hill. The guy in this photo in East County should just get rid of his gun and walk out with the merchandise instead. This is what California law allows now in the supposed name of social justice social justice.

It’s probably happening all over and everywhere. It’s the society we live in now.
It’s been created by liberal California government and their supporters, who enable and support criminals and who promote crime.
In the end it’s the honest law abiding citizens who pay for it all.

In last two weeks I’ve seen this retail theft twice. Once at Big Lots and another day at 99¢ store. One level drop down in stupid.

As an owner of a liquor store, I can tell you that if you come in to my store playing stupid games like that, you will win a very stupid prize and that includes taking the room temperature challenge!

Instead of sending all the stores a warning send them a shotgun. Sawed off would be good.
