An Oakley woman was sentenced to almost eight years in prison for offenses related to the commission of lewd acts and statutory rape of minors between January and March of 2022.
On February 3rd, 2023, 35-year-old Jennifer Decarlo pled guilty to two counts of lewd acts upon a minor, two counts of statutory rape, and one count of meeting with a minor for lewd purposes.
She will be required to serve 7 years and 8 months in state prison. Upon release from prison, she will be placed on parole and required to register for life as a sex offender.
The case centered on the grooming of young boys for sex by Decarlo and initially involved only
one minor victim. However, due to additional investigative work by the Oakley Police
Department, authorities located two additional minor victims.
Further investigation resulted in evidence from social media demonstrating how Decarlo groomed and lured young boys to her home for the purpose of committing lewd acts on them.
Deputy District Attorney Chris Sansoe said,
“Given the nature of the charges there is nothing that can be done to restore the innocence Jennifer Decarlo stole from these boys. However, weare satisfied knowing that she will serve a significant prison sentence followed by a requirement that she register as a sex offender for the rest of her life.”

Got off super easy. 5 counts. Looking at the case she has 21 felony charges for sex with children. 21 felony charges all involving sex with children. Way to go on throwing out 75%of them for a weak plea deal.

Yeah I looked, she’s no super model. But I promise if she was HOT, she would have gotten probation or not even prosecuted.
Men/boys can be sexually harassed/raped and harmed by acts like this regardless of their age. These boys are MINORS and she is a grown woman attacking and taking advantage of them. You are a nasty person for thinking these boys were not harmed or stripped of something. They are kids who were taken advantage of.

Because girls are not equal to boys and boys are not equal to girls. Young ladies are insecure and easily wooed into love, happens every day. Boys just want to have experiences. Girls are not emotionally mature enough to know what they are getting into and fall prey. Boy want bragging rights. It’s totally different.
“He enjoyed it” is no more of an excuse when it’s a boy than “she was asking for it” when it’s a girl. This is a case of an abuse of power by an authority figure, and she should get the same punishment as any other child molester.
