An 18-year-old man was shot and wounded Tuesday evening in Antioch when he exited a home to find multiple suspects stealing motorcycles from the residence.
Antioch police responded to a call at 7:33 p.m. regarding a shooting in the 5100 block of Carriage Way. Officers found an 18-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.
Officers rendered medical aid until medical personnel arrived on scene and transported the victim to a hospital. Police said the man is expected to survive.
Investigators said multiple suspects were stealing several motorcycles in a driveway. When the victim exited the residence, the suspects began shooting at him. Police said one of the motorcycles was stolen.
