You will have to address the fact that Newsom was moving people who were in the state’s custody, who’s parents / guardians were informed and aware of where these minors were, or were going to, and why you and the GOP waited to do this after the statute of limitations have run out.
Way to signal your virtue by spending more energy on using an event as a talking point then actually pursuing justice for the victims.
The people DeSantis, Abbot, and Trump move / moved have committed a misdemeanor offence at best, and were moved across state lines (which means they committed federal abduction which has no statute of limitations vs. Newsom moving people who were in custody within the state of California)
Newsom is no saint. He at least has enough brains to work within the already established legal system making his maneuvers, and here is a key phrase, effective and legal.

‘Abduct’ is to illegally capture someone by force but ‘to kidnap’ infers that the intention is to later release on payment of a ransom. The two words are based on two verbs that are synonyms. And both are a part of 18 U.S.C. 1201.
Why don’t they? I don’t know, and frankly I don’t care. I’m not the one requesting the investigation nor was I the one bringing up Newsom’s issues to begin with.

First “open border” generally refers to illegal immigration of migrants. I read the article and it looks like the CHP seized a total of 231 pounds of illegal drugs.

The article doesn’t state where the drugs came from but I agree it is most likely that they came from Mexico. But do you think the person who seems to be a resident of Mazatlan, Mexico, hiked with 231 pounds of drugs through the dessert? Of course not, it’s much more likely that these drugs were stashed in a truck and crossed the border that way.

Getting a truck full of drugs over the border is tough to do without being inspected & getting caught.
This one was obviously done by having the contraband smuggled in on foot & meeting at a pre arranged destination to load it on board the truck.

I thought Oppenheimer was too long & too LOUD! They probably turned the sound level up that high to prevent the audience from falling asleep. Too many details, and all kinds of weird, unnecessary special effects depicting the inner workings of Oppie’s mind. Movie was kinda interesting, but I would wait until it’s out on video so you can pause it… several times.
I didn’t see Barbie, I probably won’t, but I would like to see the part where Barbie goes to the real world and discovers genitalia.
