I worked in the high-rise office building overlooking that intersection for 23 years (office moved to Walnut Creek in July). Accidents at that very intersection happened at least three times a month (probably more not during weekday work hours). People drive way too fast in Downtown Concord, especially on Clayton Road. This isn’t the first planter box/planter pot taken out at that intersection. Please be careful and alert when driving or walking anywhere downtown!

I think the pot won this collision.
