On March 17 at 9:28am, CHP Contra Costa was advised of a solo vehicle crash on Franklin Canyon Road, east of McEwen Road. A Honda Pilot, occupied by one driver, was traveling eastbound on Franklin Canyon Road when it left the roadway and collided with a tree.
CHP and emergency personnel arrived on the scene, and the driver (an adult male) was pronounced deceased. The initial investigation indicates the driver was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. In tragic situations like this, families often seek justice and support through a car wreck lawyer, who can help navigate the legal complexities and ensure their rights are protected.
This crash is still under investigation. If anyone witnessed it or the events leading up to it, please contact CHP Contra Costa in Martinez, (925) 646-4980 or email your contact information to 320Investigations@chp.ca.gov to be contacted by the investigating officer.
