California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s (D) administration lost track of the $24 billion in taxpayer funds it spent over the past five years in an attempt to curb the state’s homelessness crisis, an audit has found.
Gavin Newsom is California’s George W Bush. Think about it. It’s probably a good thing to tell to the rest of the country if he dares running for president. He should have stuck to raising grapes.

We know that our State Legislature will never vote to make themselves a part-time State Legislature, so it’s up to the voting citizens of California to put a referendum proposition on the ballot to make the California State Legslature a part-time Legislature.

California also needs to increase the size of both houses of our bicameral legislature because our State Senate and State Assembly districts have become too large in population, which has resulted in our districts being ungovernable and our State Legislators being unaccountable. Our State Legislature is still the same size as it was when California’s legislative districts were drawn on and within county or multiple county lines, despite the population of California having grown by tens of millions of individuals. As an example, the State of New Hampshire has a population of about 1.4 million individuals, while the New Hampshire General Court consists of 25 seats in the State Senate and 400 seats in the State House of Representatives. The State of California has a population of about 39 million individuals, while the California State Legislature consists of 40 seats in the State Senate and 80 seats in the State Assembly.

It’d be nice if we were able to go back to using the “Little Federalism” model of apportionment, where we were represented by county in our State Legislatures, having equal representation in the State Senate and representation by population in State Assembly, with each county having at least one member in the State Assembly for smaller population counties and larger population counties would have multiple members of the State Assembly, limiting the gerrymandering of districts to just the lower house and within individual counties. Unfortunately, this is unlikely to happen because it would either require the passage of an Amendment to the US Constitution or for the US Supreme Court to reverse the “One person, One vote” rule created by the Warren Court in the 1960s, which reversed 175+ years of precedence, and has absolutely nothing to do the number of times a person votes in an election, but has to do with State Legislative districts being drawn so that they’re “subjectively” close to equal in population, which resulted in the transfer of political power to urban metropolitan population centers.
Trump won 2020 in a landslide. California included.

4. Normalization. This stage changes the appreciation of what the status quo looks like. Bezmenov’s description of this phase also includes military take over.

Last Weekend to sign the Referendum to allow residents to vote and reject the truly deplorable City of Concord Rent and Tenancy control ordinance.
Registered Concord voters can sign at Safeway (Denkinger and Treat ) from 1-4 today (Saturday) or on Sunday at Ace Hardware from 1-4.
If you don’t already know, this ordinance affects single family homes and condos as well as big corporate-owned apartments. If this law stays in place, homeowners face new city fees, potential lawsuits if they don’t follow the complicated rules, and severe restrictions on their ability to sell their home. Even if they want to sell, they cannot evict the tenant. They would have to sell the home with the tenant in it. Even the death of the homeowner is not a “just cause”.
This will also harm new tenants as rental housing availability will dry up. Talk about a case where good intentions do much more harm than good!

If they were able to collect enough valid signatures to get this on the November ballot, then the repeal of Concord’s Measure V, the permanent 1.0% sales tax increase which barely passed in 2020, will be the next proposed ballot measure for which signatures will be collected.
So Newsom and his administration can’t account for over 24 billion taxpayer dollars over five years which was supposed to pay for the never ending homeless crisis he helped create. I wonder if they will audit his new 7 billion money grab from proposition one. If the money can’t be traced, someone needs to go jail…

I was asking because the polling that I’ve seen recently has been showing something different from what you had posted, so I wanted to know what you were reading. Former President Donald Trump had been consistently leading in most polling for about 6 months, but over the last 2 or so weeks President Biden has picked up in polling to a point where they’re polling about even. I also read recently that President Biden was leading in most “likely voter” polling, who are the most reliable voters, while former President Trump was leading in most “voters,” “registered voters,” and “adults” polling, who are more unreliable voters, and in the case of “adults” polling, they include non-citizens.
