I find it very telling that the Kamala Harris campaign, which raised over a billion dollars- has finished in the red by 20 million! By comparison, the Trump campaign, which did not raise nearly that much money, still has tens of millions left! They have even offered to pay the deficit for the democrat candidate on her campaign to help unite the country.. I’m sure they won’t accept it. But, what is so telling is that this is an indication of how each of them would have run the country. I’m glad America made the right choice!
I suspect there was a lot of money (graft) spread around to various people, just because. She spent over a billion running 90 days (over $11,000,000 a day), and many of those days included the media asking where she was. Stories are she paid celebs, but I wonder how much her daughter made, or other family members, as “campaign staff” A lot of donators were shafted, deeply. But that has been the Dem way, enrich themselves on the backs of supporters. And they’re too, either blind or just plain dumb, to see.
It’s reported that those celebrity supporters were paid a million dollars each. This includes Oprah & Bruce Springsteen .We thought they were supporters and probable donors, but in reality they were being paid to perform.
As for Oprah that story has been debunked. Don’t believe everything you read on the internet!

Oprah said she didn’t take the money, but her staff was paid with money from the campaign, and her staff for the program was huge.

Bill Clinton and Bush 41 became so close that Barbara Bush thought of Clinton almost as another son. Bush 43rd and Michelle Obama enjoy each other’s company. That is strength, that shows class, and humanity.

I had a friend who was a medical student and told me most there were sons and daughters of MDs and needed help from their folk’s influence to get through the course as they were not that great at the science.
TV show today, Susan Atkinson’s,on one or 2 channels, at 6:30 pm but I saw it early 2 times already, has a good segment on vaccines and also about the children lost at the border now in child trafficking. She is an investigative journalist, and tells it like it is. Adam Shiffty squelched the info about the vaccines earlier.

I am pleased with the various nominations this time around. First term, his first nom was reince priebus, couldn’t get much worse. This time, first (or second) nom was Tom Homan, could get much better. I like DOGE, provided they stay on mission, without creep into other areas. I like Hegseth, but I have no idea of his suitability for the role, but I wouldn’t know for anybody, honestly. I am not sold, either way on the selection of Gaetz. Regardless of his character (he is in Congress, that denizen of thieves/scumbags), I cannot say he will stay focused and not seek retribution. I would have loved to have seen Mark Levin as AG, if his health would hold out, or any position honestly. Mostly glad that it is President Trump making these selections and not couldn’t-be-bothered-to-learn-even-the basics-of-a-topic harris. If he resets the power/size of government by even 30%, that would be a huge victory.

In the second update of the vote count on 11/13/2024, Mayor Edi Birsan had fallen 102 votes behind Pablo Benevente. In the third update of the vote count on 11/15/2024, Mayor Edi Birsan had fallen 104 votes behind Pablo Benevente. Contra Costa County still has an estimated 14,600 ballots to count and an estimated 4,500 ballots to cure and count. There are going to be plenty of civil lawsuits that will hold up deportation for a while. In the mean time, farmers will help their workers obtain work visas, if they haven’t already. A majority of farmers do this anyway to stay legal and avoid huge fines, penalties.
