According to the Concord Police, the report shown above only includes approved reports. Some burglary reports might not be written or completely approved, which is why they are not included in this post.

note: The first two numbers in some of the addresses have been deleted to protect the privacy of the victim.

There has to be a better way to stop this mess. Then I love the message for one of the shoplifting charges that claim the value was under $950. Like that should make a difference. Missing from the report is any arrests if there were any.

Thanks to California voters, it does make a difference, a HUGE one! If it doesn’t meet the $950 threshold, it’s not a burglary (felony). Since this is a burglary report, it won’t appear. $949 is now a misdemeanor punishable by county jail instead of state prison. Big difference for the criminal!
