Officers from the Concord Police Department will be out tonight between 9:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. looking for drivers suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

DUI saturation patrols will take place in areas with high frequencies of DUI collisions and/or arrests.

In 2017, 1,120 people were killed in alcohol-involved crashes on California roads.

@ S

It’s always on the public “dime”. I’m pretty sure you don’t work for free do you?

Would be great if there was a way for CPD to ticket more reckless drivers on the streets. The other day I was stopped at a red light in the right hand lane on Galindo. A driver in the middle lane made a right turn in front of my car! The light was still red! There is no right hand turn allowed in the middle lane!! This was an illegal, reckless, and the stupid driver was either in a hurry or has no license!
