North Gate, South Gate, and Summit Roads will be closed in Mount Diablo State Park until damage caused by heavy rainfall, rockslides, and erosion can be repaired.

This closure applies to everyone — cars, bicycles, and hikers.

The Mitchell Canyon and Macedo Ranch entrances and back country will remain open, but visitors are advised to use caution on the trails and fire roads and asked to report any issues such as slides and downed trees to park staff or at Feedback.MountDiablo@parks.ca.gov.
