Get Ready! Starting Thursday, The Weather Forecast Calls For Almost Two Weeks Of Nothing But Rain

As we previously reported, another large storm will douse the Bay Area and Central Coast later this week, bringing strong winds, heavy rainfall and renewed risk of flooding across the region.

While showers are likely into Thursday, according to the National Weather Service’s San Francisco Bay Area office, a potential atmospheric river could enter the area late Thursday.

Weather officials described the incoming storm as a “conveyer belt of moisture” entering the region from the tropics in the Pacific Ocean, with an increasing possibility of several inches of rain.

The extended weather forecast for the East Bay calls for rain from Thursday March 9 to at least Tuesday March 21.

Mild winters are one reason why people stay in California and deal with the other insufferable crap. It will be interesting to see what affect ‘global warming’ has on the migration of people out of California.

This can potentially be dangerous for the major rivers. We’ve had a lot of runoff already, and many of the reservoirs have cone way up. Oroville is 70ish feet from full. A massive warm storm that dumps a lot of rain in the mountains, and melts a lot of the heavy existing snow load, can lead to extreme runoff levels upriver of the dams, and potentially topping them off, leading to flooding downriver as they are forced to spill more water than the system can handle.

Plus, if the dams are topped off early, there will.be no room left for the spring snow melt, meaning much of that will be wasted as they are forced to spill it.

We’ll see if it gets that far.

To Do List March 7, 2023 - 11:23 AM - 11:23 AM

Hopefully Newsom or alternates can declare more states of emergency for this. A few days ago he declared a state of emergency in 13 different counties due to the snow. I wish someone could count up all the state of emergencies we have had with this governor. Also flags seem to always be at half mast. Something seems off if we are always in mourning and always in an emergency.

Just what Newsom and his handlers intended with their HAARP Weather Modification Programs.

Burn us out and then subsequently flood and mud/land slide us out and declare another State of Emergency to give him/them more dictatorial powers which they crave and intended all along.

As I said in an earlier post: put your critical thinking caps on!

The City is going to need to do something about Ellis Lake… it never receded back below the walkway after the January rains… Another week, week and a half of steady rain and who knows what it’ll do!

The aquafer(sp)? Can still take on more water we had drilling done for water on a ranch we own in Central Valley they had to go very deep to hit any water. Geologist said it was because the aquafer is low from drought.instead of building more houses everywhere they need to build some more reservoirs and dams instead of letting the water runoff into the Pacific Ocean
