So, I just watched an interview with Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, where both the “news” anchor and Mayorkas repeatedly said “we have a broken immigration system.” WE DON’T HAVE A BROKEN IMMIGRATION SYSTEM!!! Illegal immigration is not a sign of a broken immigration system, it’s a sign of a broken land and water border security system, a broken asylum system, and a broken visa system, but our legal immigration system works as designed. We’ve watched for decades as millions of illegal aliens have crossed our northern, southern, atlantic and pacific borders. Almost all of those that claim asylum are doing so falsely, and don’t qualify for asylum. When most of those that overstay their visas are males from Brazil, China, India, Mexico, and Venezuela, then maybe we shouldn’t issue so many visas to males from Brazil, China, India, Mexico, and Venezuela. The only reason this “broken immigration system” slogan is constantly mentioned is because a majority of Congress, both Democrats and Republicans, want to increase our legal immigration numbers from just over 1 million per year today, more than any other country in the entire world, to 2 million, 3 million, or more per year, while a majority of the American public would like to see legal immigration rates reduced or remain the same.

Thanks for the reminder. Actually most of the posts so far are about how Democrats lie about facts to influence policy, but one subject both party leaders agree on is to suppress whatever truth there is in our government’s role in the JFK assassination.

I smell a rat. It’s all over the news that Disney is cancelling a one billion dollar development at Lake Nona Florida and the press blames conflict with DeSantis. Not so fast. This project was an attempt to relocate their entire Imagineering group from California to Florida but earlier stories say there was rebellion by the staff who did not want to move. And if you look at Lake Nona on Google Maps it is wedged between the end of a busy airport runway, a Walmart Supercenter, a tract home development, and literally an alligator swamp. Is that really the place? Looks to me like the Imagineers’ revolt worked and Disney is opportunistically pretending it’s the governor’s fault.
And the media is buying right into it.
