Concord Police are investigating what appears to be a shooting on Woodland Dr., just off Concord Blvd. in between Glazier and Denkinger.

Details are slim, but one person has been transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Concord Police appear to have identified a suspect, although the suspect is not currently in custody.

This is a KNOWN TWEAKER HOUSE!! Cops are there ALL the time. Drugs are sold out of this house. And obviously illegal weapons are there too. CPD does nothing to stop these degenerates. And now there is a shooting. Kids live all around and the shooter is on the loose. How wonderful. What is the point of probation or parole when these ppl continue to keep up their illegal activities? These ppl clearly don’t value their lives or the ones around them. If we were in Clayton or Danville this would be unacceptable and the cops would find a way to shut it down. Buuuuuut sadly this is Concord and its a free for all. Only thing that would be worse would be Oakland or SF.

This is my neighborhood and I can’t understand why this continues at this house! It’s maddening. We have a great neighborhood with the exception of this house and the dump on Glazier Drive towards Clayton Road. SMH.

Well yeah, when the police won’t do anything to protect you or your neighbors, you have to handle things yourself.

Which house is it? I’ve been down that street many times and none of them look particularly bad. Is it close to Glazier Dr backing up to Concord Blvd?

Anonymous December 19, 2023 - 8:10 AM - 8:10 AM

Yes it is. The drug dealer lives there with his grandmother, so I’ve heard. He disappears from time to time, but when he’s back in town, the whole neighborhood knows it.

If you can get the neighbors together eveyone can each sue the owner of the house to remove nuisance. If it is a rental the owner will evict the renter. If I recall the city of concord has an easy to follow process. We did this to a drug house on our street.

I agree about the DUMP on Glazier Dr , time to clean it up , just disgusting, feel bad for the immediate neighbors

Has vigilante mob violence already been ruled out?
Yeah? Well then…. I’ve got nothing.

If you want the occupants gone you have to get the neighborhood involved and every time you see a crime or suspicious activity call the police, eventually they will get tired of hearing from you and do something. We did and the house was eventually clear and we have our neighborhood back.
