I have a wonderful daughter, and a beautiful granddaughter. I rarely get sick,
and never had a serious ailment. It’s not only on Thanksgiving that I acknowledge
the positive in my life, it is every day. I am always grateful for what life has handed
me, even the negative. If there wasn’t any negativity in life, then I would not have
learned and grown. Everything I have experienced in my life has made me what
I am today, and for that, I am grateful. God has been good to me.

My wife, daughter and son. So many things, but none more than my family.

I’m thankful I was born in a country where I never had to worry about missiles flying into my home. I’m thankful for my family and friends. I’m thankful that I can criticize elected politicians without being thrown into jail. I’m thankful for being able to attend decent schools and hope never to stop learning. I’m thankful for our first responders. I’m thankful for being born in a country where you have unlimited possibilities to do whatever you want to become and achieve the American dream through hard work and some luck. I’m thankful for my teachers while attending school and other mentors in my life who helped to guide me along my career path. Lastly, I’m thankful for having a roof over my head, a warm place to lay my head when I tired, and food in my stomach when I’m hungry.

That my adult kids like me.
That I was born white male middle class American
in the second half of the 20th century.
Also 12-18 year old single malt scotch whisky.
Haagan Daaz.
Don’t make me get a list going. 🙃

I am thankful for the old school chums, shipmates, scouters, friends, and family who are still with us, as well as the memories of those who are not.

I am thankful for a mom that is a true Christian and taught our whole family what walking with the Lord really looks like. I am also thankful for my family, my wonderful children and a husband who constantly shows me that he is willing to put in the work to make our relationship a happy one. I am truly blessed and so thankful to God almighty.
