A thief stole a carburetor from the Auto Zone on Monument Blvd. in Concord on Sunday night.

The thief, described as a white or Hispanic male adult, fled the store on foot with a dog.

I can’t help but wonder if the thief was one of the protesters from yesterday.

I’m just shocked they still sell carburetors there

Probably a carb that won’t even fit his vehicle ….

Well what kind of dog did he have?
That would really help to narrow things down.
And the parts stores don’t just leave carburetors out on the shelf, thief probably ordered it days ago and came in today, asked to see it, and then…..adios!

I haven’t driven a car with an actual carburetor for probably 30 years.
Forgot they were even a thing. 🤷

I love my Edelbrock 500CFM 4BBL on my ’56 Ford F-100 hotrod pickup truck!! I only wish I knew how to post a photo of it from my cellphone to this forum. (??)

If he gets apprehended will the dog go to jail, too?

This is in the news because he only stole 1
