Pasta Primavera Cafe on Treat Blvd in Concord is closed. The sign has been taken down and their phone number is disconnected. There isn’t a note on their door, on their website or their social media accounts explaining the reason for the closure.
We also went within the last year and I make better pasta at home. Not worth wasting money on it.

I remember eating there when their food was good and that was over 25 years ago when I lived nearby.

They just went out of business. Times are tough even for established restaurants. I hadnt eaten there for several years.

Last time I was there, about 8 months ago, (first time in 10 years) I ordered my fave from years before — bow tie pasta in a lemon cream sauce with salmon bites, and it was awful. Totally forgot to put any lemon in it, so it was bland and flavorless. Decided I wouldn’t go back. Entire vibe was different. It was my favorite place in the entire county 15/20/25 years ago.

The most consistently mediocre food we used to order.
Sort of admirable in that way. Was never really good.
But was never terrible.

Our family eat there several times over the years. We enjoyed the food and service. Sorry to see them go. I know the rent in that plaza is expensive and the restaurant business usually loses money on their food while making up for it with alcohol. If customers are not drinking, your business maybe sinking.

We went there in February and had the best carbonara since Little Jose’s closed in San Francisco several years ago. The service was excellent, the owner was there, and there was no hint of trouble. We were very surprised, as our previous visit was pretty bad. I guess we got lucky. Is the one on North Main in WC related? It has the same name but seems a lot more refined.
I ate at Pasta Primavera about a month ago, the qualityof the food was good, but they’d become cheap in giving guests bread. They had a “Help Wanted” sign in the window and I was told they had been looking for another cook for 2 years.

Every time I passed by the place seemed empty. Can’t say I ever had anything memorable there.
I’m surprised it lasted as long as it did…the food was at best mediocre.
