I hope the injured person was not an innocent driver

Cd, I think Lambie meant that they hope it wasn’t an innocent person just driving along and got caught up in the pursuit. Maybe you should think before you type.

@Cd Really just shut up with that noise. Who are you the internet police…

Carnac the Magnificent November 19, 2019 - 6:48 AM - 6:48 AM

@ Cd – did it ever occur to you that there are other drivers on the road besides the suspect and the Police who are chasing them?

Some poor guy or girl with a Joe job who happens to get caught up in the drama and gets in a collision minding their own business?

No where does it say the suspect was the one airlifted. It’s only implied. Don’t assume.

Think before you speak next time.

Cd,

Sometimes cars other than those being pursued by law enforcement wind up in the crash.

Heard on the scanner the car was westbound Hwy 4 passing Hwy 242 doing 120 mph. The car rolled around Alhambra Ave and the driver was ejected. An HK 45 Cal pistol was recovered at the scene.

Badger – Can you tell me a good scanner to buy that’s less than $100, please? Something I can just plug in without all these crazy equipment add-ons.

Broadcastify doesn’t cover the local cities I want to hear.

Badger November 19, 2019 - 7:28 PM - 7:28 PM

I have a Uniden Home Patrol 2, Just enter any zip code and it programs the frequencies. You need a digital scanner. Most cost more than $300.

The only one that is encrypted around here is Antioch police. I get police for Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Oakland, Vallejo. the County Sheriff, BART and much more.

They must not have had insurance. Ran from police and no insurance? Hey EMT, you guys take him. And take your time getting there!!

The Fearless Spectator November 20, 2019 - 9:34 AM - 9:34 AM

Even if they have insurance, there is a high probability the ambulance company is “Out of Network”. Patient writes the check…….
