Police have arrested three women for an armed robbery spree that took place over seven months in the East Bay.

From Aug. 2023 through Feb. 2024, the suspects were allegedly connected to 11 robberies, including seven in Hayward, one in Livermore, one in Fremont, one in San Leandro, and one in Castro Valley.

Hayward police said Friday, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service, they arrested 42-year-old Jaray Washington, from Oakland, on Feb. 13. Washington is believed to be responsible for all 11 robberies.

They also arrested 24-year-old Oakland resident Cameron Watkins on March 11.

Authorities believe Watkins took part in two robberies with Washington.

Police also arrested 26-year-old Concord resident Deante Hunt on April 4 for allegedly taking part in two robberies with Washington.

The women are suspected of multiple crimes, including robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated kidnapping, and various weapons violations.

Hayward police said during each robbery, at least one suspect brandished a firearm.

In some cases, the subjects allegedly moved employees and/or customers to other parts of the businesses and forced employees to hand over cash from registers and/or safes while being held at gunpoint.

The suspects also allegedly forced employees and customers to hand over their personal property while at gunpoint before fleeing the scene.

Good job LE! …at least we have the names posted… now Becton – stop the revolving door and keep ’em locked up!

All of the crimes were committed in Alameda County. It’s Pamela Price that needs to stop the revolving door for these criminals. Let’s hope she does.

Scum of the earth. Worthless human beings that can’t grow up and be adults. Really sad. They rather steal and be lazy bums.

I sure wish Alameda had a DA.

Someone in the chair claims the title, but it’s no DA.

Same CCC.

Why do we tolerate this?

Because too many voters have attention spans and memory of a Fungus Gnat. Who will vote for the ones who spend most money on media commercials and blight our roadways with their campaign signs. It’s really sad, they care more about some titanic breasted, bubble butted, troubled extroverts on TV and how many signal bars their hand held device has than being responsible informed voters.

No comment needed. The narrative is enough for me.

My guess is that Paula Price won’t prosecute to the fullest extant of the law because of
race. They should get 10 years or more.

Maybe some of the jurors in these cases are as uninformed as you appear to be. You’re absolutely correct. Paula Price won’t be prosecuting anyone, there is no Paula Price in the office.

Paula Price is unable to prosecute. Alameda County DA Pamela Price is able to prosecute, and she should do so to the fullest extent of the law. I’m not holding my breath, though. I can see her putting these criminals into a Restorative Justice program.

Frankly, I always thought women were equal and even better….. but I prefer when they were kinder & nicer, softer spoken and more feminine.

Would like a future follow up on Claycord for the sentence these three get. Maybe a periodic update on their years in prison and the adverse affect on their families. We need to get back to tough on crime as a civilized society. This should serve as a warning and lesson that crime doesn’t pay. Glad they are off the street. As a gun was used, it could have resulted in deadly consequences. Just hope the prosecutors and courts do their sworn duty. Afraid they’ll all be a burden on society now and in the future. What a waste of lives.
