On April 30, 2024, Walnut Creek Police Detectives arrested Kevin Osborne for sexual assault of a minor under the age of 10. This case was reported to Walnut Creek Police several weeks ago, and a thorough investigation was completed. The charges in this case stem from incidents that occurred 15-20 years ago. Once Osborne was taken into custody, the case was then presented to the Contra Costa County District Attorney for review. The District Attorney filed the above charges, and Osborne remains in custody at Contra Costa County Jail on a bail of $3,300,000.

Given the nature of the allegations and the nature of the case, there may be other individuals whom the same suspect sexually assaulted. Because it is possible there are other victims, we are releasing a photo of Osborne. We understand that it can be challenging for victims to come forward. Still, we encourage anyone with information about this case or who has experienced any form of sexual assault to contact the Walnut Creek Police Department at 925-943-5844 or call the Anonymous Tip Line at 925-943-5865.

They aren’t all readily available. You should post links to the ones you find that aren’t posted here.

How fast you are to make judgement. Very well understood what’s happened was wrong and is being corrected. Correction is needed in all of us. The spec in your eye may appear small to you but are you sure? Let’s not be quick to slander, but much more in prayer.

There wasn’t a coverup by the church. Sounds like you have an ax to grind.
