That smoke ain’t coming from yard weeds!. Something else is burning back there, maybe a car or tires.

Arson May 4, 2021 - 8:48 PM - 8:48 PM

Yep! I was one of the ppl who was in the house. There was a car in the back where the fire was

BAAQMD wants people to stop having house fires.

redrazor May 4, 2021 - 4:39 PM - 4:39 PM

Most likely an old junker parked in their back yard.

Anonymous May 4, 2021 - 6:03 PM - 6:03 PM

I park my old junker truck in front of the house to upset the snobby neighbors.

I think they hate me even more because it’s registered, passes SMOG every time and still runs great. But it’s 34 years old and ugly as hell.

Jojo Potato May 4, 2021 - 7:13 PM - 7:13 PM

Let us know where it’s parked so I can toss my beer bottles in the back. That’s good recycling, you know.

Arson May 4, 2021 - 8:53 PM - 8:53 PM

Yep. I’m one of the people who was in the house and can confirm there was an old car in the back were the fire was.

Another fire intersection of Farm Bureau and Willow Pass

See my post. I couldn’t tell if the SUV had hid the pump , but it looked like the car was an angle and very close to the pump, from what I could see of the car it didn’t look old. Wonder if someone was smoking or what. Surprised Claycord didn’t post about it. A fire by a gas pump is not a good thing.

Antonius May 4, 2021 - 6:10 PM - 6:10 PM

Well done tires for dinner, that’s my guess.

Hanne Jeppesen May 4, 2021 - 6:11 PM - 6:11 PM

Drove by the Arco gas station on Willow Pass a white Suv was on fire by one of pumps. Time 5:40 p.m.

Someone got fired!

Arson May 4, 2021 - 9:05 PM - 9:05 PM

Okay so, I’m one of the people who was in the house. And I can confirm there was a car in the back where the fire was. The fire started as a bbq gone wrong. That place is actually a small daycare. It was a normal day all good. I was in one of the rooms with the kids. And the rest were sleeping. It seems the wind made the bbq flame rise. One of the caretakers tried to put it out. But it had gotten too big. Us in one of the rooms saw smoke rising from outside in the backyard. Then we were told to evacuate the house and leave everything behind. We made sure everyone had gotten out. All of the kids were safe and fine. Just in shock. We heard loud booms coming from the backyard. The kids were panicking so we had to calm them down. Eventually the fire got bigger and we could see it burning one of the palm trees they had. Thankfully the firefighters arrived in time. Everyone had gotten out perfectly fine. Not one injury. Just a lot of tears. I’m glad we were able to get out. Anyways that’s what happened. Just to answer some of the questions I see here.

Interesting. This day will live on in the memories of a few kids for the rest of their lives!

Ann May 5, 2021 - 6:55 AM - 6:55 AM

Wait a minute. You are doing family daycare? You guys were having a bbq or was it someone else? According to my nephew who is assistant pastor at refuge church., lots of property were affected. Children had to go to the church. Family daycare providers need a relocation sight .

Scooter May 5, 2021 - 7:05 AM - 7:05 AM

Good to have the details, although I find it mildly alarming that this poster is named “Arson”, talking about a fire, and that this person supposedly works with children in a day care.

Jenn May 4, 2021 - 11:09 PM - 11:09 PM

I seen the smoke from work at woodside elementary

chuckie the troll May 5, 2021 - 8:07 AM - 8:07 AM

Antifa is always proud of Arson.

barbie truck May 5, 2021 - 9:07 AM - 9:07 AM

ann; no they dont work there they go there

Sam Malone May 5, 2021 - 9:22 AM - 9:22 AM

Could see the smoke all the way into Clayton. Seems more to this than is being said.

Ann May 5, 2021 - 4:27 PM - 4:27 PM

Read it again. Arson said he/her was with a group of children. Plus no one leaves a bbq unattended. Whether it be a neighbor or a daycare provider.
We need to the straight facts.

stoptheinsanity May 5, 2021 - 6:11 PM - 6:11 PM

Safe house with dozens of illegals?

Ann May 6, 2021 - 6:19 AM - 6:19 AM

Nephew said it was crazy . People running everywhere when the police came. Illegal daycare or something.
